Danielle Barnett
Where are you from?
I grew up in a small town called Live Oak, FL right next to the FL/GA line. When I was 21 I moved down to Lakeland, FL to be with my family, fell in love with the city and have been here ever since! I brought my country accent, my affinity for a good glass of sweet tea and my southern hospitality with me though!
Are you married, or do you have a family?
I have been married to my awesome husband Justin for 8 years. We met at Trinity Life Church where he is the Student Ministries Pastor and we have been doing ministry and life together ever since. He is very supportive of everything I do. I am so thankful for him. Justin and I have 2 beautiful children: Logan and Bailey. They are so much fun and full of life. Being their mom is one of my greatest joys.
What made you want to be a Realtor?
After Dory’s encouragement to become a part of her team, being a Realtor, especially a Homes for Heroes Realtor, appealed to me because I enjoy working with people. The idea of helping them navigate through the process of purchasing their dream home or selling their current home seemed like it would be a great challenge and responsibility but also a very rewarding career.
What is your favorite part of being a Realtor?
In real estate, we get to work with customers at some of the most exciting times of their lives, maybe they are newly married and purchasing their first home, have a growing family and need to expand or are retiring and looking for the perfect home to settle into. I love that each family is different and we get to help them in those pivotal moments.
What would you say is your passion?
My passion is helping people.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not selling real estate?
When I am not selling real estate you will find me with my family. I might be volunteering at one of the kids school events, helping my husband at the church or just spending the day at the park or zoo but spending time with my family is my favorite thing to do.
What is your favorite TV Show?
My favorite tv show is Shark Tank.
What are your hobbies?
Music is my hobby. I enjoy playing the piano and singing. I also love going to the beach. There is nothing more relaxing than sitting in the sand and listening to the waves.
Why did you choose to be a part of Homes for Heroes?
I chose to be a part of Homes for Heroes because I thought it was a great tangible way to say thank you to the people who serve our Country, protect our cities, care for our loved ones and educate our children. It is an honor to be part of such a great organization!
