1. What is your name? What was your name prior to Marriage?
Dory Rodriguez Joseph. Complete name before I got married? Hang on! Dory Luz Rodriguez Seda.

I am originally from Toa Baja, Puerto Rico. A little “barrio” called Sabana Seca. I went to José Julian Tapia for elementary school. Francisca Davila Semprit for middle school and Dr Pedro Albizu Campos for High School.
3. Are you married? Do you have a family?
More than a husband, I have a friend and business partner James K. Joseph. I feel blessed to have you as part of my life for over 10 years now! We together have one daughter, she is my little princes and her name is Nanishy (means with all my heart) Marie Joseph.
4. What made you want to be a REALTOR?
I was working at Publix at the Design Department and a friend asked me to go with her and check out some houses so that I could help her choose the best house for her. The Realtor at the time Joe Joseph convinced me that I would make a great Realtor if I wanted to follow that path some day. With my background in accounting and design I realized that he was right. And now 15 years later I am incredibly grateful!
5. What is your favorite thing about being a Realtor?
I just LOVE the excitement when they finally get the keys of their home! Its such of an emotional ride! Clients meet me and like me. I show them houses and they are excited… then they find the right one and make an offer! We put it under contract… and they get stressed out, buyer’s remorse kicks in, they hate me for a little while… we close and yay! They love me again and send me all of their friends! Its like a roller coaster!
6. What would you say is your passion?
My passion is to make a tangible difference in the lives of the people I come in contact with.
7. What do you enjoy doing when you are not selling Real Estate?
I enjoy to the fullest spending time with my family. I like to go to amusement parks, Sea World and Busch Gardens. Having fun with Nanishy definitely! I also enjoy very much being part of BSF/ Bible Study Fellowship.
8. What is your favorite TV show or movie?
I enjoy shows that involve police officers and that solve some sort of case. Like a puzzle! The Black List is up there for me. I also watched all of The Closer.
9. What are your hobbies?
I enjoy building things. I like to work with my hands.
10. Why did you choose to be part of Homes for Heroes?
When I heard about the program I was in from the start. It was a perfect fit for my principles and my desire to bless those who serve the community. Thanks to my dad I always felt a desire to thank all the men in Law Enforcement and Military for their sacrificial contribution.
